HeldenHammer (Graham McNeill)

HeldenHammer is the first book in the trilogy of Sigmar. It follows the young Sigmar - The legendary figure of the Warhammer world -  as he tries to join all the human clans together so that they can forge the empire. During his journey, he will have to face magic, orks and betrayal.

HeldemHammer is a recommended read. It has a variety of different characters and a good story. It's quite a short read, but if you like fantasy, you will enjoy it. Some parts are a bit boring, but altogether it's quite good.

Birth of a Killer (Darren Shan)

Darren Shan is most famous for his saga of vampires starring the characters Darren Shan and Larten Cresply. In Birth of a killer  Larten Cresply becomes a vampire when he meets the mysterious vampire named Seba Nile. The story begins with Larten fleeing from his village to escape an angry mob where he meets Seba and agrees to be his assistant.

Although the book is enjoyable Shan seems to have missed some parts out as after each part of the book he skips about 15 years. There is no bit with Larten as a half vampire or when he becomes a full vampire it skips straight to him having fights at vampire mountain . Also it does not feel like a Darren Shan novel as it is in the third person when he usually writes in the first (except in The Thin Executioner).

Lord Sunday (Garth Nix)

Lord Sunday is the conclusion to the best-selling Keys to the Kingdom series. the story is about a boy named Arthur penhaligton who has previously gone to the middle of the universe call the house and defeated 6 of the days that would have destroyed the whole universe. Now Arthur must face the most deadly one of them all......

I enjoyed Lord Sunday as it is better than the last two, where i kind of lost interest, but not as good as the first two witch i thought were amazing books. It has a good but sad ending and i would give this.........

Dark Moon (David Gemmell)

Dark Moon is a fantasy book which was published 1996. It is written by deceased writer David Gemmell who in many peoples eyes is the greatest fantasy writer of all time. I am among those people.

Dark moon consists of 3 heroes...
Tarantio- A mercenary with two souls
Duvadas- A musician with ancient healing powers.
Karis-  A female warrior and skilled general.

Together they fight for the survival of mankind as the ancient race of the Daroth  try to destroy them.
I wish Gemmell had written a second book about these charectors as they are so good.
